I am a huge fan of, and advocate for the safety of our National Parks. The small community outside of Joshua Tree National Park in the Southern California desert is a hub for artists of all mediums. The scenery in and around the park is a beautiful place to find quiet, inner peace, and inspiration.
The Sun Is Late - Nashville, TN 2015
These photos were taken around the days we were finishing up The Sun Is Late. I love walking on and under this old railroad bridge just as it lifts up to cross the Cumberland River. There is a beautiful calmness around still railroad tracks which await their next train.
This 1940's Wurlitzer upright still sings beautifully and also falls out of tune like an old saloon piano.
